Join us for an engaging, hands-on resin workshop where you'll learn to work with epoxy resin and pigments to design your own personalized cheeseboard and four coasters.
In this workshop, you’ll be guided by an experienced instructor through:
The essentials of epoxy resin and important safety tips
How to prepare your cheeseboard and coasters with painter's tape
Techniques for mixing, colouring, and pouring resin onto your wooden pieces
Helpful tips for creating stunning effects like ceiling and lacing
Your instructor will also demonstrate how to create an ocean/beach-themed board using the direct pour technique, walking you through the process step by step. They may also show you the dirty pour technique for added creative flair.
We use Art Resin, a premium, non-toxic, food-safe, and VOC-free epoxy resin, ensuring your pieces are not only beautiful but also functional and safe for use.
By the end of this interactive workshop, you'll walk away with one completed cheeseboard, four coasters, and the skills and confidence to continue experimenting with resin art on your own!
Important Notes:
A variety of colours will be available for you to choose from during the class.
This workshop is suitable for ages 16 and up. Participants under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult, with prior discussion with the instructor.
This class is not recommended for those who are pregnant.
No prior experience is necessary—everyone is welcome, regardless of skill level.
The pieces will need a minimum of 12 hours to set/cure, so they can be picked up the following day or within two weeks.
While the boards may vary from the photos, we’ll have a great selection to choose from.
