TAGATA MOANA is a program of workshops and events presented at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre. The program includes a number of individual events across September and October 2024. These events intend to highlight artists with connections to the Moana Oceania region and supports audiences to build greater connections to its art and culture.

About Faraimo PauloFaraimo Paulo is a traditional painter, carver and designer from the islands of Tokelau.
Having grown up in both Samoa and Tokelau, Faraimo has always been passionate about including his culture, lifestyle and stories as the focus of all his artworks.
Faraimo has a unique style of art he calls “patterns and weaving”. Drawing inspiration from Polynesians patterns used on tattoos and clothing, as well as weaving used in every life.
