Get ready to unleash your inner artist and tap into the magical powers of nature in this ECO ART PRINTING workshop. Sometimes called leaf printing or eco dying, eco printing involves extracting the natural colours and dyes from plant materials and transferring them to another object such as paper or fabric via steaming or boiling.

What makes ECO PRINTING incredible is that  the entire image is transferred and there is no better time that spring to explores this incredible art form.

Explore the fascinating techniques in this sustainable and environmentally friendly workshop and learn how to unlock the hidden wonders of nature's palette. Whether you are a seasoned artist or a curious beginner our workshop will leave you with a profound sense of wonder and accomplishment as you see the way natural materials come to life in the most unexpected ways.

In this workshop, we will be using watercolour paper and will experiment with an array of all-natural materials including leaves and flowers that you have sourced and brought to the workshops. All other materials will be provided.

Stuck on what leaves or flowers to bring along - consider some of the following:
  • Eucalyptus or gum leaves
  • Maple or liquid amber leaves
  • Avocado leaves
  • Fern leaves
  • Crepe Myrtle leaves
  • Hydrangea leaves
  • Rose flowers and leaves
  • Marigold flowers
  • Chrysanthemum flowers
  • Pansies
  • Hibiscus
  • Violets

You are booking the 4 hour ECO ART PRINTING workshop on Sunday 29 October 2023 from 10.30am to 2.30pm.

You will need to bring along some leaves and flowers to experiment with. All other materials will be provided.
