Join Dominic Quagliozzi, and members of the Creative Hybrids Lab, for a drawing workshop before the launch of the Paradoxes of Paradise exhibition at Casula Powerhouse.
In this workshop, participants will create drawings with both art-making tools and a selection of surplus medical supplies. The workshop will explore themes of vulnerability, self-care and resilience as participants reinterpreting and re-coding their relationship to medicalized materials.
Artist Dominic Quagliozzi and Creative Hybrids Lab will create a warm and conversational drawing space. The artists will also provide valuable insights into their own artistic practices and how their work reflects the patient experiences.
