Do you have a child who wants to learn about music?
Join us at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre for our JAMuary workshop event as part of our Jamming with Strangers exhibition. This music workshop will be facilitated by members of the CPAC Youth team who will take your child through some drumming and ukulele techniques and kids will also have the opportunity to create and decorate their own hand-made instruments.
Meet new friends as you sit in a drumming circle and learn how music can bring people together and get to be part of something bigger than yourself. Date: Saturday 15th January 2022 Time: 12:30 - 2:30pm

This workshop will be run by CPAC Youth and all materials, and instruments will be supplied. The workshop will run for 2 hours!

CAR AND BICYCLE ● From Parramatta or Campbelltown way (without tolls) Take the Hume Highway going towards Liverpool. Follow it all the way into Terminus Street, Liverpool and turn right into Pirie Street. Follow the signs to the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, Shepard Street Entrance. ● From the M5/City (with tolls) Take the M5 to Liverpool. Exit at Moorebank Avenue and drive towards Liverpool turning left at Newbridge Road. Turn left into Speed Street and follow the signs to Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre.
ACCESS Visitors with restricted mobility can enjoy all public areas of Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre. The theatre is fitted with a hearing loop, and has provision for restricted mobility access. Guide and Hearing Dogs are welcome.
