Easy Sun printing Workshop
with artist and photographer Jo Wong Hoyee
Join us for these fun and easy Sun printing (Cyanotype) workshops. We will 3 groups of 6 pairs starting at 11 am, 12 noon and 1 pm on 11th July Thursday in the Performance Space at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre. Each group will be guided to make easy and fun sun prints. Each 60-minute workshop comprises a practice run indoors with local plants and small found objects followed by 5-7 minutes of sun exposure and a quick image-fixing process outdoors. Beautiful 'blueprints' of snippets of nature will effortlessly emerge and be taken home by our creative enthusiasts.
Great way to build bonds between participants and their carers while connecting with nature at a beautiful site.
Participation T&C's:
Individuals sensitive / allergic to UV light, Potassium ferricyanide, Ferric ammonium citrate and/or peroxide must not attend. Children under 8 and participants with special needs must be accompanied by their carers at all times in this exercise as it involves handling wet / breakable surfaces.
