School Holiday Workshop
Join us in this one-off workshop, where you will hear from our curator Ellen Hewitt.
Ellen has completed a Masters in Curatorship and Cultural Leadership (UNSW Art and Design) and has been working in curatorial and exhibition administration roles in recognised art galleries for over 4 years. She joined the team at Casula Powerhouse at the beginning of 2020.
In this workshop, Ellen will tell you about the many jobs that a curatorial team has to do before, during and after an exhibition. She will also talk about the unique building of Casula Powerhouse Art Centre, and how the space influences the creation of exhibitions. As part of the workshop, we will examine our online 3D gallery spaces and you will design your own exhibition by drawing your own space or using our downloadable template of the Upper Turbine Gallery.
This workshop will suit children age:13+ and you will only need a ruler, a bit of paper and pencils.
